Looking for local pro-wrestlers (male and female) for a documentary. This will be about their lives and the struggles and triumps in trying to make it to the top.

This is a no budget project. I want to submit the film to as many festivals as possible. Everyone participating will recive credit.

Please let me know.

This project is to celebrate the hard work that the men and women working independents go through. If I wanted to do something that bashed the industry then I would do "Beyond The Mat" 2 or something similar.

Have you ever noticed that all of thoes films in some way were connected to WWE. Vince was in both "Beyond the Mat" and "Wrestling with Shadows"... those productions used WWE footage and personel both past and present. After "The Wrestler" came out there was the Jericho angel bashing the film. Theres an old saying that "bad credit is still credit". Dont you possibly think that having Mickey Rourke involved in a match at Wrestlemania is not promoting the fillm by WWE?

Im not in anyway working with WWE. Im a true fan that wants to celebrate a sport I love. I dont really need to explain myself any further then that. I have gotten multiple people wanting to be involved. They understand what I am doing and are more then willing to be a part of this with great stories to tell.

Opinions are like assholes. Most of them stink. Oh btw...u r an asshole.

"Beyond the Mat" was a success. "Beyond the Mat" hurt wrestling. "Wrestling With Shadows", "The Wrestler", any TV interview... you name it, nothing good EVER, for the wrestling biz at least, comes of it.

.... Then again, I've always been a huge mark of Dr D., and have always felt that his was the right response to media questions.

I guess I'm an asshole.

I hope you ask Frankie if what he does is real.

And I hope he punches you in the head.

I would buy a ticket to see that movie.

Gotta love a director that can't take an opinion he doesn't agree with. I'm not worried about you "bashing the industry'.. frankly, the 'industry' (See: Vince) deserves it. My problem is this (which is how i ment it):

How do you do a documentary without exposing the business.

Sure, other people have exposed it already, other people get into child molesting too, but it doesn't make it right.

If you are a 'true fan' of pro wrestling and really love it like you say, i'll be curious to see how you celebrate it without exposing it. No one in the media has seemed to pull that one off yet...

I want to see something that isn't watered down with WWE talent, or TNA talent, or any mainstream names what so ever. I want to real indy wrestlers,...with real struggles, real problems, real families, real money problems, REAL LIFE STUFF.
