Good luck to everyone competing this year at the Peterson Cup. I wish you all a safe and successful time!

I remember when Jeff first came to Florida and started looking for work. Jeff rode with me and Luscious Luke to Melborne to work for Bill Weaver. He was 16 then and a good dude! I always loved Jeff Peterson!

I think my favorite thing about the Peterson Cup this year is Ron Bass vs. Sean Davis. I love the mixing of the old with the new. Putting a legend like Ron Bass on the card is a great thing to do. I know that Sean is having a dream come true when he steps in the ring with Bass. I worked with Ron Bass and I know first hand that it will be a fun time for Sean! Congrats my Brother!

Be safe, have a good time and remember who this is in memory of....Jeff Peterson!

Thanks Chris...I am super psyched and ready to take out another legend. I've now been in the ring with almost as many legends as you my friend (OK, I will never quite get there brother) and I am ready for The Outlaw. I have been studying tapes of him vs Black Bart, Barry Windham, Abdulla the Butcher, Dusty and many, many others so I know how tough he is but I know I can take the best he can dish out and I am gonna surprise alot of people by standing toe to toe with him.

Just a warning that this match will NOT be for the faint of heart. There's gonna be a thick, heavy, rusty old cow bell at the middle of the rope and I guarantee the blood is gonna flow like water on November 21!

Have a great match with Bass. I am seriously jealous that you have him in a Bullrope Match!!!!! That is so friggin' cool. I am looking forward to seeing it if not live, on dvd after the fact!

The "cadillac" event of the year in the Florida wrestling; The JPC, version 2009, has arrived! Good luck to all involved, be safe, take care of each other in there, and make sure to take a minute to remember Jeff; he was a phoenominal kid that loved wrestling to the nth degree. Bass and Sean should be fantatstic, (can't wait to see the dvd), and the tourney is always top shelf. One of the only wrestling events out there that makes me smile just because of what it's all about....

No doubt these are always very fun shows, and guys bust their ass to put on a great show.... They put it all on the line, Which represents everything Jeff Peterson stood for. I am sure he would be proud that his legacy lives on through these shows.

Went to my first JPC event last year and had a blast. Purchased three seats for both nights this year and even have a friend flying in from Houston for tomorrow night. Anyone that has not gone absolutely should. Great time, great cause and great tribute.
